When Carl Jensen began going to Champion Dragway in 1986, he found himself to be a racer prepared for any breakage, carrying extra parts with him to each event. Word travelled among the racing fraternity and numerous people began to visit his pit area for parts and advice. From this, the idea of opening a dedicated business became a reality and C&M Performance was officially formed.

Today, Carl and Julie Jensen are the personalities behind C&M Performance. They're both enthusiasts who have no problem conversing with the hardiest of petrolheads while also being quite at home dealing in the corporate world. The Jensens make it their life's work to stay on top of trends in an effort to ensure everything at C&M is finished to the highest standards of perfection and to exceed client's needs and expectations.

Nearly 20 years ago, Carl worked out of a corner of his garage, nowadays, C&M boasts a 6000sqft workshop, fully equipped machine shop, retail showroom and secure storage for customer projects. Add to that they ship parts nationwide, deal directly with over 50 manufacturers and have become a trusted name in New Zealand's racing industry and you'll soon realise they believe relationships built with suppliers and customers are of the utmost importance.

With a background in the electrical and marketing side of the automotive field, the Jensens pride themselves on being highly respected in New Zealand's competitive performance marketplace. Carl not only engineers and tunes to customer requirements, he also uses his own racing endeavours to finely hone his knowledge of thoroughbred engineering principals.
